Who we are
Let the Bride Be ("we", "us") is a text-message wedding concierge for couples, their guests and their vendors. Contact: hello@letthebridebe.com. We text from the Let the Bride Be toll-free number shown on your wedding invitation or wedding website.
How texting starts
Guests always text us first. A guest opts in by texting the wedding code printed on the invitation or wedding website to the Let the Bride Be number shown there. Vendors also text us first. Couples never upload guest phone numbers, and we never text anyone who has not texted us.
What we keep
- Guests: your name, your phone number, and your texting style (message length, formality, and whether you use emoji), so replies feel natural. Messages you send in a wedding thread are used to help with that wedding.
- Other preferences (for example dietary needs) are remembered only if you ask us to remember them.
- We never infer or store your sex or age.
- Couples: wedding details you share (venue, schedule, vendor contacts). Vendors: your phone number and messages.
- Waitlist: your email address.
- Payments go through our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
How we use it
To answer questions, make arrangements you ask for, pass wedding-specific questions to the couple, and greet returning guests by name. Each wedding is kept separate: details from one wedding are never shown in another.
Recommendations and commissions
Some recommendations may earn us a small commission. When they do, we say so in the message.
Sharing
We share only what a booking needs with the business you ask us to book, and with service providers that run our texting, hosting and payments. Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Retention and deletion
Wedding thread content is deleted or anonymized within 90 days after the wedding. Your name, number and texting style are kept so we can welcome you back, and are erased after 2 years of inactivity. Text FORGET ME at any time to erase everything we hold about you, or email hello@letthebridebe.com.
Your choices
Text STOP to opt out, HELP for help, or FORGET ME to erase your data. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete and correct personal information; email hello@letthebridebe.com to exercise them.
